SPREADSHEET WORKSPACE
How CombineSheets Handles Your Data
File privacy at CombineSheets starts with local processing: all spreadsheet data stays in your browser. This includes file contents, file names, worksheet names, column names, and cell values. Account services, payments, and hosting use separate network connections and handle the information described below.
File privacy during processing
Spreadsheet processing runs in a Web Worker in your browser. Selecting a file makes it available to the local tool; it does not upload the file to our server. Merging, splitting, and rebuilding worksheet values as PDF tables happen on your device.
For example, selecting sales-january.xlsx lets the browser read its January sheet and order records. Those names and records are not sent to us as part of processing. The same rule applies to your own files, including confidential business tables.
Local processing does not remove your responsibility for downloaded outputs. Once you download a workbook, CSV, PDF, or ZIP, manage it using your device's file controls. Check your output folder and sharing destination before distributing files to other people.
Account and payment information
Accounts use Google sign-in. Free tools do not require sign-in. When you sign in, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with us; we use them only to identify your account, link passes and orders, and reply to support requests. Your account and session information are handled separately from the workbooks you select.
The service records successful orders and pass dates to link access to an account. Its start and end dates determine which limits apply while it is active. These account and order records are not copies of your spreadsheet data.
PayPal handles payment details. Payments are one-time payments rather than subscriptions. The account and order connection is necessary to associate a successful payment with pass access; it does not require sending us the worksheets you process.
Hosting logs, analytics, and session cookies
Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps standard request logs containing information such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL. Visiting combinesheets.com therefore involves ordinary website requests even though spreadsheet processing is local.
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure anonymous page visits and tool usage on combinesheets.com. File contents, file names, sheet names, column names and cell values are never sent to analytics. Analytics can include pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and the referring site. You can block analytics cookies in your browser or use Google's opt-out add-on.
Google Analytics 4 may use analytics cookies to measure visits and tool usage. Account session cookies keep you signed in after Google sign-in. Session cookies are distinct from your downloaded outputs and from the spreadsheet data being processed locally. Contact us if you need help understanding account access or a session-related problem.
Retention and deletion requests
We do not receive your spreadsheet data through the tools, so there is no server copy of that data for us to return or delete. To remove a downloaded result, use your own device's file controls and check any location where you have shared or copied it.
For questions about retention or deletion of account and order information, contact support@combinesheets.com. State which account or order your request concerns. Do not attach a confidential workbook or paste its cell values into the message; those contents are unnecessary for identifying your account.
Ask about the retention of the particular account or order records that concern you, including any records that may need to remain associated with an order. PayPal and Cloudflare handle information within their respective services as described above.
Children and changes to this notice
If your concern involves a child's account or personal information, contact support@combinesheets.com with enough context to identify the concern. A parent or guardian can use the same contact address for questions or deletion requests. Avoid sending spreadsheet contents.
Changes to account, payment, hosting, or data-handling arrangements may require updates to this notice. Review it when those arrangements matter to your decision to use the service. For output limitations and the supported-file refund rule, read the terms and refund section.
